Our courses are delivered by licensed Mental Health First Aid instructors and cover critical mental health topics such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use problems.

Emergency Preparedness

Be ready for any crisis. Being trained as a Mental Health First Aider increases mental health literacy and teaches the practical skills needed to support a co-worker or another adult, experiencing a mental health problem or crisis including suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, and severe effects from alcohol or drug use.

Course Entry – Your Roadmap to becoming a Certified Mental Health First Aider.

Starting Strong

To embark on this journey, you need to be at least 18 years old at the time of enrolment. It’s ideal to have sound English skills (equivalent to Year 10 LLN), will ensure you're ready to start your journey and make the most of this valuable training.

Certify Your Compassion

Upon course completion, you'll earn a certificate of completion, validating your new knowledge and skills. Take it a step further by becoming an Accredited Mental Health First Aider. Our graduates can undertake a simple online assessment after course completion to become a certified Mental Health First Aider recognised by Mental Health First Aid Australia.

Be the Accredited Hero

With accreditation from Mental Health First Aid Australia, you'll be recognised as a  MHFAider™ and you can wear your ‘badge’ proudly by highlighting your certification in your workplace or community. Your accreditation lasts for 3 years, and you can renew it with a refresher course.

Course Assessment

Real-World Evaluation

The course itself does not have any formal assessment requirements, but your progress will be observed  by our highly experienced course facilitator/instructor during role-plays, scenarios, group discussions and verbal Q&A throughout the course.

 

If you aspire for industry recognition, there is a short online assessment to undertake after course completion that will get you there.
